Summary

Differencial diagnosis of autoimmune pancreatitis and pancreatic carcinoma is usaully quite difficult procedure. In clinical practice a combination of clinical disease course and response to the therapy, serological markers, imaging methods and histology are used. The team-work and close cooperation with dedicted experts from other specialisation are absolutely needed.
